you can do some quests that give you money and you can make things like bronze bars the make a scimi and sell ityou get money and it raises you level
Fishing is easy. once you can fish up lobsters and cook them in bulk, people will buy them off you left and right.

I'm mining right now. I get 200 gold per coal ore. it is good because not only do I get gold, but my mining level goes up at the same time.
I'm also currently just starting my fishing levels. I'm going to get it up to lobsters because they go for good a good amount of gold each. also, they are great for eating too. so you can keep some for you to eat when you are training or something.
